Wide Range of Cleaning Machines for Efficient Cleaning Solutions
There are many types of cleaning machines and this can often lead to confusion as to which type of machine to look for.
Below we have briefly explained the main cleaning machine types to help you start looking in the right direction for your ideal machine.
Vacuum Cleaners
These are very self-explanatory as we have almost all used one around the home or at work at some point or another. Within the vacuum cleaner category pages, you will find machines big and small, from a standard Henry Vacuum right through to giant three motor industrial units.
Specialist types of vacuums are available for wet use, ponds, hazardous materials and oils.
Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners
When we talk about carpet cleaners we generally mean machines that clean carpets wet, instead of dry like a normal vacuum.
These are a variation of vacuum cleaners but include injection and extraction facilities that allow the machines to inject cleaning solution and extract the solution again (with any dirt) to leave carpet and upholstery clean and fresh. These machines come in various sizes, and some include brushes that automatically agitate carpet fibres to release the dirt.
Floor Machines
This area of our website covers all machines for cleaning hard floors, these may be inside or outside.
-
Rotary Floor Cleaners - Rotary floor cleaners are a class of machines that are used for scrubbing a floor surface to loosen dirt or to shine the floor to a high gloss. Rotary floor cleaners do not collect the water that is used with them so they require either a mop or wet vacuum to be used in conjunction with them. There are specialist versions of these available including those that can sand flooring ready for a new finish.
-
Scrubber Dryers - Scrubber dryers are similar to rotary floor cleaners but they have the ability to dispense clean water, scrub a floor, then collect the dirty residue, this makes them much faster to work with for general cleaning applications. They are not however as good at dedicated polishing roles due to the slower speed the brushes operate at. They can, however, be great at maintaining a floor once it is polished.
- Sweeper Machines - - These machines are designed to tackle dust and dirt in outside areas, they are great at clearing general rubbish from car parks and other open tarmacked and concrete covered areas such as playgrounds.
Pressure Washers
These are again a product that we are sure most people are familiar with. They come in a variety of sizes from domestic use units for the home and garden, to giant units that are specially designed to work in factories on construction sites.
Steam Cleaners
Steam cleaners use high-pressure high-temperature steam to break up dirt and shift staining. They are an excellent tool to use around the home and around the workplace. They can sanitise surfaces without the need for any chemicals, and less chemical use can never be a bad thing. There are various types of steam cleaners out there, from ones for flooring only to those that can do floors, windows, sinks and even ovens.
